But, the career path of an illustrator never seems to be a straight path as illustration is a diverse area and constantly involving art and design. A number of career paths are available for illustrators within the creative industries. Whether you want to work for commercial products, advertising, book publishing, or establish your own art label, the steps are different for each illustrator. So, where to begin and what does it take to make it in your chosen path?
